This new range has been designed in collaboration with local artist Claire Henley.
Claire’s first visit to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre was in the mid 1970s with her family. Having moved to within walking distance of the theatre over thirty years ago, she is very much a regular visitor, sometimes deciding to grab a ticket within an hour of curtain up.
All these buildings are incredibly familiar to her and are full of family memories. Her favourite being the old scenery store with its extra-tall central door. However, the actor’s tiny cottage, the quirky Other Place, the huge facade of the main theatre with its tower, the modern stage door and the historic exterior of The Swan all play an essential part in today’s Royal Shakespeare Theatre.
